Digital Lume LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Our mailing address and principal office is 30 N. Gould St., Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA. Digital Lume LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We provide services to clients outside the United States, so this policy is written to meet the requirements of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, which apply to many of the people who use this site. We apply the same standards to everyone, wherever they are.

2. What personal data we collect

Information you give us.

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message, plus any other details you choose to share (for example, your company name or project details).

Information collected automatically.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect information about how the site is used, such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source. See section 3.

Technical data.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives your IP address and basic request details (such as browser type and pages requested) whenever you load the site, and may keep them in logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send it to us through the site.

3. Cookies and analytics

We do not set analytics cookies until you accept them in our cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (such as `_ga` and `_ga_*`) to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set, and the site works the same way.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, after which the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

4. How we use your data and our legal bases

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed. These currently include:

• Google (Google Analytics 4), for analytics, if you consent
• Resend, for delivering messages sent through the contact form
• Vercel, our website hosting provider
• Professional advisers (for example, accountants and lawyers) and authorities where the law requires

These providers act on our instructions or as independent controllers under their own privacy terms, as applicable.

6. International transfers

Digital Lume LLC is a United States company, and our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you are in the UK or EEA, this means your data will be transferred to the United States and possibly elsewhere. When your data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on a provider's certification under the relevant data privacy framework, where those are available.

7. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and for up to 14 months afterwards, unless an engagement begins. Data relating to an engagement, including invoicing records, is kept for as long as the Agreement requires and as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data erased
• restrict or object to our processing
• receive your data in a portable format
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (withdrawal does not affect earlier processing)

10. Information for US residents

We collect and use personal data only as described in this policy. We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
